The ladies in this office are just an absolute delight!! EVERYONE from behind the counter to the doctors & nurses! I drive TWO HOURS for our cleanings and dental needs! (Yes, there is one that is closer to me but they was scheduling almost a year and a half-out!!) I also have twins and those ladies do the darn thing and ensure we can all be seen in one day! And my kiddos actually enjoy going because "They don't dig in their gums and have yummy toothpaste and fluoride lol"

3/13/2026 updated to add: Since this post & reaching back out to the office via email, I have had extremely positive interactions with the staff! The office manager, Lindsay, has been on the ball & also going above and beyond to assist me with everything I need. I really don’t like giving negative reviews at all, I did only as I felt it was necessary to get a response from the office. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to update my review to positive & recommend this office as a dental provider🙏🏻(end of update). I had my first appointment at Complete Dental Care on February 11, 2026, for a complex dental issue requiring a tooth extraction. I have a significantly complex medical history, including Type 1 Diabetes, ileostomy, malabsorption, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, multiple allergies, mast cell activation syndrome, autonomic neuropathy, POTS and a history of sepsis. At this first appointment on February 11, 2026, the dentist prescribed what was, for me, a second course of clindamycin. This second course caused serious complications with my ileostomy output and led to dehydration. At that appointment, I was also referred to Case Western Dental for an OR extraction, with instructions to contact Complete Dental Care if I did not hear from Case Western within 1–2 weeks. I first contacted Complete Dental Care on February 19 to make them aware I had not heard from Case Western & the complications from the antibiotic. I was given Case Western’s number, and was told they would reach out on my behalf also. I have called Case Western daily and left voicemails from Feb 19 on with no response. By February 25, I still had not heard from Case Western or Complete Dental Care and called Complete Dental Care again, being promised a return call before the end of the day yet that call never came. On February 27, while on my way to my doctor, I called Complete Dental Care and spoke with Susie. I explained the situation, the health complications, and that I needed inform

the dentist the dental assistant in the dental hygienist at Calcutta or east Liverpool whatever you want to call it complete dental Care are top notch I have been going there for years my dental hygiene has improved so much I went from losing teeth to just great dental hygiene since I've been there and my goal was/is to keep the rest of the teeth I have, healthy for as long as I can ....and they have certainly helped me achieve that goal... and their professional and nice and personable and they're just awesome .. if you're looking for a place go there ..I've been to other complete dental care before them (I didn't know there was one in my hometown at the time)..I have only had 1 bad experience with one dentist... but I won't blame the whole company because him ...but the one in Boardman was also good too but I was only there one time.... but this office in Calcutta is my primary dentistry team, so your are in great hands if you choose them.

My previous dentist quit taking my insurance and I hadn't found her replacement yet. I called Complete Dental Care on a Monday morning in severe pain. They got me in immediately. There was an issue with my insurance and the ladies were very patient, kind and helpful while I took care of getting it resolved. Scheduled me for a root canal on Thursday and prescribed me pain meds to get me through until then. Never in my life did I imagine I'd be looking forward to getting a root canal but I was! Dr. Platz did a fantastic job; I didn't feel a thing! I have definitely found my new dentist!
